The approximate time to reach Coorg (Madikeri) from Mangalore is 3-4 hours. Travelling via NH 17 and SH 88 highways which is 157 km long takes you almost 3 hours and 10 minutes. However, if you are taking the Mangalore-Puttur-Madikeri-Mysore Highway and SH 88, it will take you 2 hours and 40 minutes to reach the destination.

The common route that one can take from Mangalore to Coorg is: Mangalore - Mani - Puttur - Sullia - Sampaje – Madikeri
